School Visits
I’m passionate about empowering children through storytelling. My lively, interactive sessions support PSHE & EYFS, helping children explore feelings, emotions, and body language in a fun and engaging way. These sessions encourage meaningful conversations, build confidence, and promote independence and resilience.
Designed for Nursery, Reception, and Key Stages 1 & 2, my author visits are tailored for both large assemblies and smaller group settings, ensuring an engaging and memorable experience for all.

ABOUT THE EVENT: Duration 45 mins – 1 hour
- Introduces emotions and body language through a lively Storytime.
- Supports self-expression, personal, social, and emotional development as children become emotion/body language detectives.
- Lively HOW TO BE A BODY LANGUAGE DETECTIVE
- Interactive LITTLE MOUSE EMOTIONS QUIZ
- The opportunity to learn and sing the Little Mouse song, craft Little Mouse emotion masks and emotion bunting for the classroom or create a ‘Class Empathy Pledge'
- Q&A session so children can ask questions about the story, being a writer, tips for writing a story, etc
- Book signing
(Max 3 workshops per visit. Mileage charged at 45p per mile)
